For optimal character movement, source files should have key body elements isolated on separate layers with painted backs: head, pupils, eyelids, torso, each limb, and primary hair locks. If your artwork is currently a flat image, our studio team can perform clean-edge manual layer separation and background in-painting prior to rigging.

Clear answers regarding layered illustration handoff, rigging boundaries, approval milestones, and commercial licensing rights.
We accept layered PSD, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, or AI files formatted at a minimum of 300 DPI or 4K resolution. Ideally, characters, foreground props, eyes/mouth details, and backgrounds are separated into distinct folders. If your illustration is completely flat or single-layered, our digital cleanup team can slice and reconstruct the hidden assets prior to rigging.
